Emergency Outreach is our newest program, started after the Nooksack River floods in December, 2025. It provides a flexible, rapid-response strategy by which Action League of Bellingham can respond to specific Whatcom County community needs that do not fit within currently existing programs and that can be addressed on a one-time-only basis. This program further provides opportunities to increase Action League’s exposure in the community, identifying an array of unmet needs for potential development of future stand-alone programs, and attracting volunteers interested in the expanded diversity of responses to community need.
